What to Expect at the Mobile World Congress, 2017

The world mobile Congress is happening this week from the 27th to 2nd March in Barcelona. It is touted as the biggest mobile industry trade show of the year. Just as it is the tradition, it will be full of new phones and Tablets. We also expect a lot of VR, AR and voice interfaces. The MWC is that kind of show that you will get to have a taste of what is coming days before the main event. Here is what we expect from some of the renowned manufacturers.

HTC

There are rumors as to whether HTC will have a real successor to the One M10 despite the fact that it announced the U Ultra phone just the other day. The company is likely to have a big display of Vive headsets and phones.

Huawei

The Chinese based company is going to introduce a Huawei watch based on Android Wear 2.0 and some improvement to the Huawei P10. Evan Blass the veteran leaker shared some photos of the new phones. There are rumors of the Mediapad T3 tablet being on the list too.

LG

The LG G6 is likely to be the biggest phone of the show since the Launch of the Samsung Galaxy S8 is rumored to be at a later date, March 29. A teaser video of the phone promises a bigger but very narrow screen, with a waterproof body.

Nokia

Nokia has been in the news of late for all the good reasons with plans to relaunch the Nokia 3310. Evan Blass says that the company will have some two other phones at MWC. The phones include the Nokia 5 and Nokia 3, which are ordinary mind-range android phones.

Samsung

Now that Samsung won’t be revealing the Galaxy S8 at the MWC, it may fall back on tablets. The company is rumored to be launching the Samsung Galaxy Tab S3 with an S pen. The tablet is reported to come with a 9.6-inch display with a resolution of 2048 by 1536 pixels. under the hood is the snapdragon processor. There is also a Galaxy Tab Pro S2 powered by windows to be fronted. According to Techradar, the 12-ich QHD display Tab will feature an Intel Kaby lake chipset coupled with 4GB RAM. storage shall come by way of 128 GB SSD, a 5MP front camera, 13MP rear camera and a 5070mAh battery.
