Tecno Camon C9 is the latest and about to be launched gadget from Tecno in Kenya. This gadget is set to be launched in mid-June and the mobile phone manufacturer has promised that users will enjoy the best camera-phone experience since the introduction of smartphones.

Camon C9 is the third and latest version in the Camon series having Camon C8 and Camon C5 as the predecessors. Tecno mobile projects that Camon C9 will perform better in the market than Camon C8 which was launched in August 2015.

This appears to be a must have gadget for selfie lovers since it has a uniquely placed front camera, 13 megapixels with led flash, and centrally placed duo flashlights. That means that even if you are in a poorly lit area, you can still take good selfies thanks to the front camera flash and Vision Algorithm Brightness. That’s not all; this gadget promises a memorable selfie experience owing to the dual 13 megapixels for the rear camera, led flash, geo tagging as well as beautification and makeup effect.

The phone is endowed with eight makeup styles meaning ladies will not have to go through the hustle of freshening up and men patting dry their oily faces. Other selfie features that make this gadget stand out from the rest are the 0.1-second speed focus camera and an Integrated Flash Focus Solution to ensure that any object in movement is captured without blur, pixelated images that can produce clear prints, angle fronts that ensure wider selfies that can accommodate more people, and a centrally placed front camera.

Appealing features in Camon C8 that are likely to be replicated or improved upon in Tecno Camon C9 would be the 16GB internal memory, 1GB RAM, powerful 1.3 GHz Quad-core processor, andan expandable memory of upto128GB. Canon C9 is also expected to have powerful 3000mAh battery units.

The price is yet to be known but given that Tecno Camon C8 trades at between KES 10,000 and KES 14,000, Tecno Camon C9 may trade at a few extra thousands. We will just have to wait and see.
