In this article, I will show you a step-by-step process of depositing money in your Family Bank account using the Mpesa |Paybill.

Step 1: Head to you Mpesa Menu using the sim toolkit, Mpesa App or the Safaricom App.

Step 2: Select Paybill.

Step 3: Select the business number

Step 4: Key in 222111 as the Family Bank business number and press okay.

Step 5: Enter the Family Bank account number in place of the account and continue.

Step 6: Next, enter the amount that you want to transfer to your Family Bank Account.

Step 7: Enter the Mpesa pin number and proceed.

Step 8: Cross check the details to make sure they are correct before you continue.

Step 9: A verification window will pop up from Mpesa. Here, you will have a few seconds to verify if the details are correct. If they are correct, ignore or dismiss. If they are wrong, enter number 1 and press okay to cancel the transaction.

Step 10: You will receive a confirmation message from both Mpesa and Family Bank. Keep these texts in case there are disputes when the transaction doesn’t show up in one end.
