By registering to GHRIS, as government employee you get easy access your payslips, update your personal information, download P9 forms for tax filing, and manage various HR-related tasks.
How to Register on GHRIS

Employee Registration Form
Visit the GHRIS officia portal and fill out the employee registration form with accurate information, including:
- User ID: this is your Full Civil Service Personal Number assigned by your HR department
- ID Number
- Date of Birth
- Official Mobile Number
- Official Email Address
- Government Ministry/Agency
- Password (Choose a strong password)
After filling in the required details, click on “submit”
Next, your information will be verified aganist your record in the Ministry or Department you serve.
Information Verification on GHRIS
After submitting your registration form, your details will be verified against the records held by your Ministry or Department. This verification validates your identity and employment status within the government system.

To access your GHRIS account, scroll to the homepage, find and click on the Login tab, located in the menu bar.

- User ID: This is your unique full civil service number in the system, typically your personal number.
- Password: The password you set up during registration.

- Access Your Payslip by navigating to the “My Records” then select the Payslip option.
- Choose the specific month and year for which you want to download the payslip.
- View to confirm the payslip, then click the Download button to save it to your device.
- The payslip will usually download in PDF format.

How to Update Employee Information on GHRIS

To update dependent details on GHRIS, here is a guide to help you.
1. Login to GHRIS Portal and enter your login credentials (ID number and password)
2. Go to the dashboard and click on Personal Information or Employee Details.
- Find the section labeled Dependants or Family Information.
This is where you can view the list of current dependents already registered.
4. Update or Add New Dependent by filling in the required fields, such as their name, date of birth, and relationship.
