At times visa applications can be long and tiresome when you don’t have the right information. The following is a simple guide on how to apply for UAE visa online for Kenyan citizens;
Visa Requirements for Kenyan Citizens Visiting Dubai
- A Kenyan passport valid for six months more than the expiry date from the date of requesting the visa.
- A coloured passport with a white background (should be 4.3 cm x 5.5 cm).
- Coloured scan of passport and last two pages of your passport).
- Documents supporting your purpose and motive of visit. This includes letter of invitation, round trip ticket, travel itinerary, hotel reservation with payment guarantee, and much more.
- The filled in visa application form.
- Passengers traveling as tourists arriving in is Dubai (DXB) or Sharjah (SHJ) must have health insurance.
- Emirates or Fly Dubai Airline confirmed tickets.
Eligibility Criteria
You qualify from any one of the following criteria for a Dubai Visa application.
- Travel Record
If you have travelled at least once in the last three years or have a valid visa for countries like UAE, UK, USA, Schengen countries, New Zealand, Australia, Japan, and Canada. Just show documents of your passport/visa stamped.
- Financial Records
Letter from the bank showing you have a bank account in Kenya and have enough funds for your stay in UAE. You can also have a security deposit equivalent to $1,200 (refundable upon return).
- Invitation
This should be from immediate family members living in UAE. Its valid for spouse, children under 21, and parents above 60.
Now that you have all the information, the visa application can be applied with your local travel agent or you can apply online with United Arab Emirate Airlines like Etihad or Emirates.
