How to Download Your Instagram Data on the iPhone and Android App

1. Click on your profile picture in the bottom right corner of the Instagram app.
2. Tap the three lines in the upper right corner.
3. Choose “Your activity”.
4. To download the data, hit “Download Your information”.
5. Then, hit the “Request download” button. They send the information to the email address that you registered with. However, you can change the email address if you like.
6. You are then asked to enter your password.
7. Then click “Request Download”.

It may take 48 hours to 14 days for you to receive your file. You can expect an email with the subject line “Your Instagram Data”. To get the information, click the link in the email to download your file.

The information will include comments, photos, profile information, and more data from your Instagram account.

To request your Instagram information from your browser, follow the following steps

1. Click on the profile picture in the upper right corner of your Instagram profile after you have logged in.
2. Pick “Settings” which is the small cog icon.
3. Choose “Privacy and Security”.
4. Move down to “Data Download” and click on the “Request Download” option.
5. Key in the email address to which you want the information sent.
6. Pick the format in that you want the data to be sent. It can be HTML or JSON.
7. Key in the Instagram password and click the “Request Download” option.

You will receive the data in 48hours. Click the link sent to get the Instagram data.
