Through the Shortcode 456

The second method is reversing through an SMS short code designed by Safaricom:

This method is a little complex since it is not possible to initiate it from Safaricom’s end. Nonetheless, Safaricom is able to give you contacts of the merchant who runs that business. 

To receive this help, call Safaricom through 191.

When you contact the merchant, you will be required to have the following information for verification;

The merchant will give you the information on how you will receive your funds.

While shopping and pay to the wrong till number, call Safaricom on 234 and ask for a reversal.
