Open a Payoneer Account
To send money from Payoneer to your Mpesa account, you need a Payoneer account. The process is simple and direct.
Open the www.payoneer.com on your device and activate your account.
To complete the process, you will need your official details like; your full name, email address, provide a username, and a password. Please note down the username and password for future uses.
When the sign up is complete, you will receive a confirmation email. Moreover, you will get information on how to collect your Payoneer card at a specific location.
Card Activation
You need to activate the card so that you easily send funds from Payoneer to Mpesa. This only happens after you have received it from your mailbox or preferred pick up point.
- To activate your card, visit Payoneer on your device and log into your account using your username and password that you set up during registration.
- Select the menu on the right hand corner and click activate card.
- You will be required to key in the 16-digit Payoneer card number. Additionally, you will be required to create a four digit pin number for your card.
- Finish this process by pressing the activate button.
You will receive a message confirming the activation of your card.
Sending Funds from Payoneer to Mpesa
The process of sending money from Payoneer to Mpesa is straight and simple
- Log into your Payoneer account.
- Select option to send to another card. Specify in the email section as payoneer@epay-kenya.com. If you don’t have an epay account you can quickly open one here.
- Key in the amount you want to send and select your e-pay username and press continue.
- An email will be sent with all the details for approval.
- The money may take up to 20 minutes to show up in your e-pay account. From here, you can transfer it into your Mpesa account.
