You just need to follow the prompts that come after installing it on your smartphone or tablet. Here is a step-by-step guide on how to set up Clipt and use it to share clipboard between smartphones, tablets, and computer devices:

1. Go to the Google Play Store or App Store on your smartphone or tablet and search for “Clipt”.
2. Install the app.
3. Open Clipt and log in with your Google account when prompted. This is to enable it to access your Google Drive account.

5. Click on “Chrome” (Clipt comes as a browser extension on computer devices. So you will need to choose which browser you would like to install it on. We will use Chrome for this guide).

7. Next, a link (bit.ly/cliptapp) will appear. It leads to Clipt’s Google Chrome extension page. Type the address on your Google Chrome address bar to visit.
8. Click “Add to Chrome” to install it.

How to Share Clipboard Between your Mobile and Computer Devices

Now that you have successfully set up Clipt on your mobile and computer devices, below is the procedure to share your clipboard between them. But before you try anything, make sure both devices have internet access.

To copy text from your mobile device to your computer, select and copy it normally. Pull down the notification bar, and there you will see “Copy latest clipboard content to other devices”. Click the button “Send” next to it. Now go to your computer, right-click and paste the text, as simple as that.

To share clipboard text from your computer to your mobile device, simply select and copy the text you would like to share. You will receive a notification on your phone immediately. Tap on it and it will lead you to copy the text.
