Use IMEI Number

The IMEI number also known as the International Mobile Equipment Identity is a unique number that all phones have. It is easier to track your phone using this method. Someone can change the sim card but this number is hard to tamper with. To use this service, the phone location and mobile data/WIFI has to be on.

To find out your IMEI number, dial *#06#. Write it down or save it somewhere that you can easily retrieve when you need to use it.

Tracking the Phone Location

1. Go to google.com/android/find on your PC or another phone.
2. Sign into the Google account.
3. Pick the device that you are looking for in case you have more than one.
4. The exact location will be availed to you.
5. From here you will be given a few options. First of all, you can make the phone ring even when it is set on silence. Secondly, you can lock it with a pin password or pattern.
6. Additionally, you can write a message on the phone’s screen. For example, “It is Jayden, please call this number if you have my phone”.
7. Lastly, you can decide to erase all the information on your device.
