Infinix Note 3 with Fingerprint Scanners Launching Soon

1

Time is almost up for Infinix Note 2 X600 which has been reigning for several months now. Chinese OEM Infinix is set to launch its next flagship smartphone, Infinix Note 3.

As usual, techies and Infinix aficionados have through the roof expectations from Note 3 given that its predecessor did not disappoint. The yet to be launched Infinix smartphone is expected to have a fingerprint sensor among other interesting and impressive features. At this point, we can only speculate since no official communication has come from the manufacturer.

Fingerprint scanners have quickly topped the list of features that people want in a good smartphone. Incorporating this feature in Infinix  Note 3  is definitely a step in the right direction for Infinix given the cut throat competition evidenced in the smartphone business.

Hot S was the first smartphone of the family series to have a fingerprint sensor; hence, it is prudent to assume that this feature will also be incorporated in Note 3. My guess is that even mid-range and budget smartphones will start featuring these scanners soon.

Infinix is yet to officially comment on when it will be launching Note 3 so ‘soon’ should do for now. The mobile giant has remained tight lipped regarding this issue.

In the meantime, let’s sit back and wait patiently hoping that whatever will be presented to us will be worth the wait, I strongly feel it will be!

Below are my guesses on some specs and price:

  • 16MP and 8MP front facing camera camera-possibly
  • 16GB ROM expandable by up to 32GB-highly likely
  • 2GHz octa-core Cortex-A7 CPU-same as that of Zero 3-likely
  • Price-Kshs. 18,000-22,000-maybe

These are just wild guesses so no one should throw stones at me in case Infinix Note 3 comes with slightly different specifications.
