KCB allows its clients to deposit money into their accounts via mobile money through the Paybill, 522522.
How to Deposit Money Via KCB Paybill Number
This is achieved by following these simple steps;
- Deposit money into your Safaricom Mpesa account.
- Open Mpesa on your sim toolkit or the Safaricom app.
- Choose “Lipa na M-PESA” and select the paybill option.
- Key in the KCB paybill number, 522522 and press okay.
- Enter your KCB account number in the account section.
- Next, key in the amount you want to send.
- Key in the PIN
- Confirm the details and press okay to finish the transaction.
A confirmation message will be sent to you shortly.
How to Withdraw Money from KCB to Mpesa
To be able to manage this, you have to register with the KCB M-Benki Service. It’s also possible through the KCB Bank mobile app. This is simply done by following this;
- Open the Safaricom Toolkit or Application.
- Go to the Paybill option.
- Key in the KCB paybill number 522522 as the business number.
- Select account number and type your ID.
- Deposit any amount and enter the Mpesa Pin.
- Two messages will come to your phone. One will have the user ID and KCB M-Benki Pin and the other with the account number.
- You are now registered and can easily access this service through *522#.
With the KCB M-Benki account it’s now easier to withdraw funds.
- Dial the USSD code, *522#.
- Enter your –Benki PIN.
- You can access the main Menu and see the various services. Visit the MyKash option.
- From here you will be able to choose the Mpesa option.
- You will be given two options, whether to send the money to another number or your number.
- Enter the amount which ranges from Kshs 50-70,000 and complete the process.
- You will get a confirmation message shortly.
