KCB VOOMA loan also renamed KCB Mobiloan is a mobile wallet lending product that enables access to short term loans at higher limits of up to KES 300,000 for 1- month at an interest rate of 5.91%.
With changes in technology, KCB adopts the new and improved systems making KCB Mobiloan fast, flexible and a robust mobile borrowing experience.
However, the KCB MobiLoan is only available to KCB account holders who are registered on KCB mobile banking. And, once you access the loans, you can send money to other VOOMA users, other mobile wallets like M-PESA and T-Kash and any bank accounts including Equity, cooperative and ABC.
At the same time, you can pay for Goods using Paybill or Till Number to approved companies like Jumia.
KCB VOOMA loan Application Guide
To qualify for the loan, here’s what you need:
- You must have a good credit score.
- You must be an active KCB account holder for at least 6 months
- Your account should not have an unpaid cheque or loan arrears in the last 6 months.
How to register for KCB VOOMA Loan
Once you have a KCB account, download the KCB App on the Google play store and follow our steps below.
- Go to the KCB App
- Tap on ‘Loan’,
- Choose ‘Vooma loan’ & follow the instructions provided.
Alternatively, if your mobile line is registered on mobile banking, use *522#
- Dial *522# and click on the call button
- Tap on ‘Loans and Saving’ •
- Choose ‘Vooma loan’
- Select ‘Loan Request’
- You will receive a pop-up showing the loan limit you qualify for
- Choose the amount you wish to borrow
- Accept the terms and conditions
- Click OK to accept the loan
Funds will be deposited into your KCB Bank account
How do you grow your loan limit?
Simply put, when you pay your loans promptly and increase activity in your KCB Bank account, the bank guarantees you an advantage of growing your loan limit rapidly.
How do you repay your KCB Vooma loan?
To repay your KCB VOOMA loan, follow these steps If you’re using the KCB App
- Visit the KCB APP
- Click on “Loans”
- On Vooma loan, choose “Repay”
- If you’ve more than one accounts, select the one you wish to repay from
- Enter amount you want to repay & click on submit
If using *522#, then follow these steps
- Dial *522# and call
- Select “Loans & Savings”
- Choose “Vooma loan”
- Click on “Loan Repayment”
- Choose a source you wish to repay from (your KCB Account or Vooma wallet)
- Enter the amount you want to repay
- Tap submit
Note: in the case where you fail to initiate the payment, money will be automatically deducted from your kcb account on the due date to pay the loan.
On the same note, for you to avoid penalties we advise repaying the loan in installments any day from the date you borrowed.

How do you check your KCB VOOMA loan limit?
The process is straightforward, Open the KCB App and tap on “Loans” then On KCB Vooma loan, select ‘View Status’ and you will be able to see your loan limit.
Alternatively, you can dial *522# and Select “Loans & Savings” then choose “Vooma loan”
Once you click on “Loan Limit Check” You will receive a message showing your Vooma loan limit.
