HMD Global has officially started selling its latest smartphone, the Nokia 8, in the Kenyan market retailing at Kshs 60,000.
The Nokia 8 is HMD Global‘s top-tier phone right now unless the company launches something even bigger. The Nokia 8 will remain its top-tier flagship phone for the year 2017. It joins the Nokia 3, Nokia 5 and Nokia 6 smartphones that were announced earlier this year.
The Nokia 8 is latest flagship device out of the stables of the Finnish smartphone manufacturer. The device comes with high-end hardware and is a much-improved variant of the Nokia 6. The device does not differ much from its predecessor regarding looks, but sports narrow bezels and has curved edges that prove pretty helpful while holding the device.
The front-facing home button also acts as a fingerprint reader. The device is set to receive an update upgrading it to Android 8.0, Oreo soon.
Fuelled by a non-removable Li-Ion 3,090mAh battery, the device carries enough juice to keep it running for an entire day. For heavy users, the battery comes with fast charging support.
You needn’t worry about the storage either as the Nokia 8 ships with 64GB of onboard storage space that can be further expanded using a microSD card up to 256GB.
