How do I download my car inspection report?

It’s simple, go to the inspection booking menu on the NTSA portal then select your preferred centre and convenient date. After going through the inspection process, you can download the report from your own account. Keep in mind that inspection fee according to the transport body is not standardized due to engine capacities

What are the working days for NTSA offices?

The head office in Upper Hill and other towns in Kenya are usually open from 8 AM to 5 PM from Monday to Friday. However, the offices remain closed during public holidays and on Sundays


How long is the new smart Kenyan driver’s license valid?

The new smart license is valid for three years, after which you must do a renewal to continue using it.

How long does it take for NTSA to approve vehicle transfer?

NTSA takes 5 days to approve your vehicle transfer process. And, you get a notification once the logbook is ready for collection. Consequently, you can login to NTSA tims portal after 5 days to see your transfer status.



Does NTSA have branches across the country?

Yes, there are branches in 14 counties, including Embu, Eldoret, Mombasa, Voi, Kakamega, Nakuru, and Kisii.
