Safaricom PostPay packages have an abundance of data, minutes, and unlimited SMS with no expiry. Moreover, you get to enjoy international calls to USA, India, Canada, and China.

The launch of Karibu Postpay tariff in 2012 was an interesting initiative by Safaricom. At the time, voice was big and the product offered it plus 2 services in a pocket friendly bundle.


What is Safaricom PostPay?

This is a tariff by Safaricom that gives you freedom to make calls, send texts, buy data and pay later.

With Safaricom PostPay, you get to set your preferred monthly credit limit. The minimum allowable limit is Kshs 1,000.

This service is open to all Safaricom pre-pay customers with the exception of corporate accounts.

To join the Safaricom PostPay bandwagon, simply dial *533# or join via the mySafaricom app.

How To Join Safaricom’s PostPay Service

 

  • Dial *544# and choose the option to join PostPay.
  • A credit limit will be availed to you. If you are not presented with one, you will be prompted to key in your preferred limit.
  • Make payment via Mpesa.
  • Enter your email address for billing purposes.
  • Choose a PostPay bundle plan.
  • Read then accept terms and conditions.

A message confirming this will be sent to your handset. The process is the same on the mySafaricom app. You just select the PostPay icon on the mySafaricom app.

The following are the 2021 Safaricom PostPay Packages that are on offer;

Kshs 1,000 Per Month

This package offers you;

  • 5 GB Data
  • 400 minutes
  • Unlimited SMS

Kshs 2,000 Per Month

With this package you get;

  • 15 GB Data
  • 1,000 minutes
  • Unlimited SMS

Kshs 3,000 Per Month

  • 25 GB Data
  • 1,500
  • Unlimited SMS

Kshs 5,000 Per Month

  • Unlimited Data
  • 2,500 minutes
  • Unlimited SMS

Kshs 10,000 Per Month

This is the most expensive package and offers the following;

  • Unlimited Data
  • Unlimited Voice
  • Unlimited SMS
