Sony Middle East and Africa today announced the launch of the sony HT-RT40, its new stylish 5.1 channel home theatre system. The home theatre system comprises of a 3-channel sound bar, two rear speakers, and an active external subwoofer.

With a total power output of 600W, users can look forward to a true 5.1 surround sound experience when watching movies or listening to music. The HT-RT40 is easy to install and can simply be connected to television sets via HMDI cables.

The powerful 5.1ch provides real surround sound experience available in the form of a thinner sound bar as well as tallboy surround speakers with dedicated center speakers to enhance clear dialog.

One of the most impressive features is the one touch wireless connectivity via Bluetooth and NFC support. Sony HT-RT40 can also be easily synced with BRAVIA TVs in a single-step process and come with ‘Music Center’ through which users can browse music using their smartphones vis an app for Android and iOS powered by the ‘Smart Remote Commander’ concept. Other specifications include a HDMI out, optical input, analogue input, and a USB port to play MP3 files from USB sticks.

The  Sony HT-RT40 is available at all key electronic stores and super markets priced at 42,995 KES  (available at all Anisuma Stores / Gametronics / Carrefour).
