Tecno Camon 16 Premier was launched in an online event that was held  on september 3rd  2020. It is latest in the Camon series coming in just months after the Camon 15 Series.

The Camon 16 comes with dual selfie snappers punched in the display with a huge 6.9” screen. other notable features includes a 4500 mAh battery that charges equally fast at 33W, meaning you will get 70% percent in 30 minutes.

The device is available at Jumia for KES 28,500.

The dimension of the device is 170.6 x 77.2 x 9.1 mm. The smartphone supports Dual SIM (Nano-SIM, dual stand-by) and HDR10+ and 90Hz refresh rate. The smartphone consists of a quad-camera including 64 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) + 2 MP (dedicated video camera) + 2 MP (depth) cameras.

The front camera consists of a 48 MP (wide) + 8 MP (ultrawide) sensor while the main camera features a Dual-LED flash and HDR. The sensors of the smartphone include a Fingerprint (side-mounted), accelerometer, proximity, and compass.

The smartphone is fueled by a Non-removable Li-Po 4500 mAh battery + Fast charging 33W, 70% in 30 min (advertised). The smartphone is pack with 8 GB RAM and 128 GB internal storage that can be extended with a microSDXC (dedicated slot).

The device features Bluetooth 5.0, FM Radio, GPS with A-GPS, and USB 2.0, Type-C 1.0 reversible connector, USB On-The-Go. The display size is 6.9 inches IPS LCD capacitive touchscreen and gives you a 1080 x 2460 pixels resolution.

The phone runs on the Android 10.0 + HIOS 6.0 operating system. TECNO Camon 16 Premier is available in a single color, Glacial Silver.
