TECNO Camon 17 series is finally here. This is the latest smartphone in the Camon series from the company. TECNO Camon 17 was launched in an online event live-streamed on YouTube
Tecno Camon 17 series, the Camon 17, Camon 17P and Camon 17 Pro are all powered by the MediaTek Helio G series processors and are backed by a 5,000mAh battery.

Tecno camon 17 pro
TECNO Camon 17 Pro features a 6.8″ FHD+ centred punch-hole display with a high screen refresh rate of 90Hz like the recently launched TECNO Spark 7P and its predecessor, the TECNO Camon 16 Premier.
TECNO Camon 17 Pro ships with MediaTek’s Helio G95 processor coupled with 8GB of RAM and 256GB of onboard storage which you can expand with an external microSD card. Regular TECNO Camon 17 comes with Helio G85 processor together with 4GB of RAM and 128GB of onboard storage. Running the show is Android 11 and HiOS 7.6 for both variants.
We have a 48MP centered punch-hole selfie camera and a 64MP quad camera rear setup. The regular TECNO Camon 17 has an 8MP punch-hole camera on the left and a 48MP triple camera setup at the back.
TECNO Camon 17 Pro will ship with a large 5000mAh battery with 25W fast wired charging(USB-C port) The regular TECNO Camon 17 ships with a micro-USB charging port and a 5000mAh battery.
Tecno Camon 17P, Tecno Camon 17 specifications
Both the Tecno Camon 17P and Tecno Camon 17 run on HiOS 7.6 based Android 11 software. The Tecno Camon 17P features a 6.8-inch full-HD+ (1,080×2,460) display with 500 nits peak brightness, 82 percent screen-to-body ratio, and 395ppi pixel density.
The Tecno Camon 17 features a smaller 6.6-inch HD+ (720×1,600) display with 90Hz screen refresh rate, 450 nits brightness, 90 percent screen-to-body-ratio, and 267ppi pixel density. Both the phones are powered by the MediaTek Helio G85 SoC paired with 6GB RAM and 128GB storage.
Coming to the camera, the Tecno Camon 17P features a quad camera setup with a 64-megapixel main sensor, 2-megapixel macro lens, 2-megapixel bokeh lens, and an AI sensor. The Tecno Camon 17, on the other hand, has a triple rear camera setup with a 48-megapixel main camera, 2-megapixel bokeh lens, and an AI sensor. Up front, both the phones have a 16-megapixel selfie camera.
The Tecno Camon 17P and Tecno Camon 17 pack 5,000mAh batteries each with 18W fast charging support. The Tecno Camon 17P has a side-mounted fingerprint sensor whereas the Tecno Camon 17 has a rear fingerprint sensor. The Tecno Camon 17P measures 168.67×76.44×8.82mm, while the Tecno Camon 17 measures 164.5×76.5×8.95 mm.
