The Tecno Camon C10 -also known Tecno Camon CX – has been on the waitlist of many after the unexpected high price tag of the 2016 flagship device –Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus– left a lot of Tecno fans disappointed.
As you already know, the Tecno Camon CX will subsequently succeed the last year’s Camon C9 which proved to be a great device.
Camon CX sports a 5.5-inch display with 1080 x 1920 pixels resolution. This puts it at the same size and pixel density as its predecessor.
Camera and photography has always been the strength of the Camon series and with a 16 megapixels camera on the back, the Tecno Camon CX is carrying on the legacy. The C9 came with a 13MP camera. So, if raw specs is anything to go by this new camera should offer some improvement.
Tecno Camon CX Specifications
As you can see from the specifications above, the Tecno Camon CX looks like an interesting device. Its main selling point will be the 16MP front facing camera that we just don’t get to see on devices such as these (below Ksh 20,000). This 16MP camera is supported by dual LED flash that will ensure you get decent specifications in the dark.
Besides the camera, the Camon CX is powered by a 1.5 GHz MediaTek processor that is paired with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of internal storage space. I am particularly happy to see an entry level model from Tecno with 32GB of storage space.
Another amazing thing is that the phone is coming with Android 7.0 Nougat. This will be the first smartphone from Tecno to come with Android 7.0 with HiOS on top.
