Tecno Mobile is set to launch its latest flagship handsets, Tecno Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus. Tecno Mobile has managed to gain mainstream popularity with the unveiling of its various products. The firm has been gradually expanding and developing in market size and models since its establishment.
Twin Devices this time round
This time, the giant manufacturer has further managed to expand its definition by manufacturing two premium devices, Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus, set to be launched in Dubai on September 25th.
2016 seems to have been a great year for the Chinese manufacturer if the various Tecno products in the market are anything to go by. Tecno Phantom 6 is expected to be an upgrade of Phantom 5 which is literally still enjoying its novelty in the market. The latter was a premium handset and the former is expected to be equipped with state-of-the-art features.
The company has remained tight-lipped about the handsets’ specs but luckily the rumor mills never run out of grease. The two handsets are expected to differ in specs and if the rumors are true, Phantom 6 will come in a 5.5-inch screen while Phantom 6 Plus will rock a 5.95-inch screen.
Tecno has come a long way from manufacturing largely criticised midrange smartphones to premium gadgets that compete with those by other first tier manufacturers. This is a step in the right direction even if we are unsure of future developments in the industry and how these will shape each player.
In other unconfirmed news, the gadgets will sport ultramodern cameras. It is a 21MP dual rear camera and 8MP selfie camera for Phantom 6, allegedly. If true, this would be nothing short of brilliant; the result would be squeaky clear images and immaculate videos. The handset is also rumoured to offer 3GB RAM and 16GB ROM expandable by up to 256GB.
Details of the Pus 6 variant are still scanty but reports indicate that both handsets are endowed with USB Type-C ports. And please, let the handsets rock a fingerprint scanner like Hot S.
Just to reiterate, the above specs are mere forecasts. Much is yet to be confirmed and we will keep you up to speed in case of any developments.
What’s your take? Do you think Phantom 6 and Phantom 6 Plus be a hit or miss?
