Can you imagine how awesome it would be if you could be able to see through walls? Apparently, it looks like that is possible now after an Israeli company, Camero-Tech, unveiled a new device at Eurosatory 2022. The device known as Xaver 1000, is a high-performance imaging device that can literally see through walls.

Xaver 1000 is equipped with 3D Sense-Through-The-Wall technology and uses artificial intelligence (AI) to display real-time high-resolution pictures of people, creatures, or objects behind walls, and determine their number and relative location. The technology can display a person’s position and tell whether they are seated, lying down, standing, or moving.

Xaver 1000 works by generating the room’s visual model, correctly positioning the target, and displaying more of its details like position, height, and orientation. Under certain conditions, according to the image’s quality, you can see individual body parts of the target.

This system can determine a person’s general posture and predict the presence of a weapon. Xaver 1000  has a 20-meter detection range and can see through the most common wall materials, although the thickness is not specified.

Xaver 1000 has a simple and easy-to-use user interface that can be operated by one person. It has a 10.1-inch touchscreen display with a navigation menu, data recording features, and playback function.

The device’s principles of operation are categorized and its purpose is to investigate the situation behind obstacles that are invisible to humans. Xaver 1000 is military-focused and meant to provide a wide range of military assistance. It can assist armed forces, Intelligence agencies, and law enforcers in information gathering, anti-terrorism operations, rescue missions, disaster management, and anti-drug operations.

Camero-Tech is a member of the SK Group of companies that provides solutions for defense and law enforcement. The company is a global leader in UWB imaging solutions. Through a press release, the company said that they have officially added Xaver 1000 into their next-generation product line.
