Kenya Police SACCO was registered on 20th November 1972 and issued a registration certificate, CS/2092. The Society started with a membership of 690 and has since grown to 65 606 members. It has 12 elected members, of which 9 form the Board of Directors and 3, the Supervisory Committee.

Who is eligible to join Kenya Police SACCO?

Their Membership is open to all. An individual is eligible for membership if they have the following qualifications:

  • Active and retired Regular and Administration police officers
  • All civil servants and salaried employees
  • Business community
  • Spouse or child of any of the above but must be 18 years of age and above

What are the requirements to join the SACCO?

The following documents are required:

  • A fully filled membership application form
  • Copy of the National Identity Card (Both sides)
  • Two recent colour passport-size photographs.

What is the process of terminating membership from Kenya Police Sacco?

It is voluntary to withdraw your membership from the SACCO. However, you must inform the SACCO in writing. You will have to fill out and submit a form available at the Sacco offices. It takes 60 days for the process to be completed. 

For the process to be successful, You must have cleared everything with the Sacco and replaced all members you had guaranteed, if any.
