The MySafaricom app is a platform that houses several features under one roof. The app is a product of Safaricom, the local giant mobile operator, and it enables its customers to manage their prepay or postpay accounts as well as conveniently interact with customer care agents.
Safaricom always manages to steal the show: from their spectacular advertisements to innovative products and services, not sure about Little Cab though, the mobile network operator has continued to reign supreme.
Its’ status as a leading mobile network operator in Kenya has not encouraged complacency. The company continues to reinvent itself and the launch of My Safaricom App is proof that comfort zone is not an option.
Up until now, the app has been downloaded by over 100,000 users. Both Android and iOS users can download the app from the Safaricom app store, Apple App Store or Google Play Store for Android.
Why should I download Mysafaricom app?
Below is a list of things that this app can enable a user to achieve:
- M-Pesa- safaricom has added new features to Mysafaricom app and you can now use Mpesa: Send and withdraw money and also use Lipa na mpesa.
- Check, redeem and transfer Bonga points
- Purchase data and SMS bundle
- Top up
- Manage SMS services
- Contact customer care agents
Bob Collymore described the app as a conscious effort that is in line with Safaricom’s commitment to give its customers desirable experience. The interface is easily navigable and it allows users to access several services under a single platform
Since its launch, the app has attracted mixed reviews and reactions from users. Some have endorsed it while others feel that certain things need to be ironed out. Not to sound like a Safaricom bootlicker but as with any other new service, there may be hiccups here and there but I guess the mere fact that Safaricom is held in high esteem warrants such scrutiny.
