HMD Global has launched the Nokia 2 in Kenya. The smartphone will retail from Ksh. 11,000 in Safaricom stores plus other general phone stores countrywide.

The Nokia 2 will be available in Kenya starting today and it will come in two colours i.e. Pewter/Black and Pewter/White. It will be available in both dual and single SIM.

The Nokia 2 comes with Android 7.1.1 (Nougat) operating system, 5.0 inch touchscreen, 8GB internal storage, 1GB RAM and a 4100 mAh battery.

It  is HMD’s cheapest Android smartphone at the moment (Dec 5th  2017) which comes with a huge battery that HMG Global says will last you well over 2 days.

HMD has promised to update the device to Android Oreo and also send monthly security updates to the device.
